“Mtel” supports again the "Bulgaria Off-road Team" in " Dakar 2014 "

For a fourth year Mtel will support the athletes of "Bulgaria Off-road Team" in their participation in " Dakar 2014". Orlin Alexiev and Plamen Nikolov, along with the team manager Todor Hristov will fight again for a title in the most prestigious off-road race.

The 35th edition of " Dakar " starts on 5-th January in Argentina, passes through Bolivia and will finish on 20-th January in Chile.The Bulgarian crew will participate with a prototype car BMW X1 in class T1.
Alexiev / Nikolov recorded great success in their first appearance in 2013 and ranked 17th in their class , showing fighting spirit and endurance in the harsh conditions of the Atacama Desert and the endless sand dunes in Peru.

This year the car is completely renovated with a new engine configuration with two turbines and torque of over 700 Newton meters with more than 350 horsepower. The team will be accompanied by special assistance truck and experienced mechanics. The media coverage is ensured by a special press car. The goals of the team this year are even higher, attacking the top ten positions in the " Royal Class " with the company and factory teams with unlimited budgets.

Завърши участието на двата български екипажа от „4х4 адвенчър” в първия кръг на Европейския Шампионат в Унгария. След три дни и 400 км. в компанията на силна конкуренция от Полша, Италия, Унгария, Португалия и Чехия, българите успяха да се качат на подиума.
